Review by Nathan P. Butler
Given the fact that the first SG-1 comic series, P.O.W., had very little to offer in terms of new material, it was really good to see the use of a new planet, a new Goa'uld, a new alien race, and a new version of the Jaffa.
Very little is explained here, but it plays well as what we might think of as the first fifteen minutes or so of an episode of Stargate SG-1. (And that's a good thing, seeing as how three of those would have the feel of one regular Stargate SG-1 episode.) It's just too bad that these stories, no matter how epic, have no real impact on the overall continuity, as they are never mentioned in the show during (or after) Season Two (which is obvious, since they weren't written until much later).
I'm eager for Fall of Rome #2.
