McGillion made Atlantis regular

Stargate Atlantis actor Paul McGillion has been promoted from a recurring role to series regular, the Vancouver Province reported and sources have confirmed. The actor has quickly become a fan favorite with his charming portrayal of Scottish Dr. Carson Beckett on the hit SCI FI series.
As a series regular, McGillion should have his name in the opening credits and is more likely to appear in all or nearly all 20 episodes of Season Two.
Stargate Atlantis' second season will begin filming in February or March for a summer 2005 premiere. The second half of Season One begins January 21 on SCI FI!
