'Condemned' nudges ratings win for Atlantis

Stargate Atlantis crept ahead in the ratings for Friday, August 12, as each of The SCI FI Channel's original series maintained a pace on par with the season to date.

Stargate SG-1 earned a 2.0 average household rating at 8 p.m. Eastern/Pacific with "The Powers That Be." This is even with the previous week's episode, and represents more than 2.4 million viewers.

Stargate Atlantis scored first place for the night at 9 p.m., with "Condemned" earning a 2.1 household rating. This is up 10 percent from last week's 1.9 rating.

Battlestar Galactica wrapped up the evening with "The Farm" at 10 p.m. The season's fifth episode earned a 2.0 rating, up from last week's 1.9.

The three series earned 1.2, 0.9, and 0.7 ratings in their late-night returns.

The fourth episode of Firefly earned a 1.2 rating at 6 p.m. (outside of primetime), up one-tenth of a point from the previous week.
