Fandemonium announces new novels

Wednesday - March 14, 2007 | by Darren Sumner

Three new Stargate novels are on the horizon for 2007, publisher Fandemonium has announced at its official Web site, StargateNovels.com.

First up is Martha Wells's Stargate Atlantis story "Entanglement," set for publication later this month. Here is the book's description, courtesy of the author's Web site:

When Dr. Rodney McKay unlocks an Ancient mystery on a distant moon, he discovers a terrifying threat to the Pegasus Galaxy.

Determined to disable the device before it's discovered by the Wraith, Colonel John Sheppard and his team explore the treacherous ruins of an Ancient outpost. But attempts to destroy the technology are complicated by the arrival of a stranger -- a stranger who can't be trusted, who needs the device to return home. Cut off from backup, under attack by the Wraith, and with the future of the universe hanging in the balance, Sheppard's team must put aside their doubts and step into the unknown.

Two SG-1 novels will follow, starting with "Roswell" in May. The book is co-written by Sonny Whitelaw & Jennifer Fallon. Whitelaw previously wrote the SG-1 novel "City of the Gods," and co-wrote "The Chosen" and "Exogenesis" with Elizabeth Christensen.

"Barque of Heaven" is scheduled to arrive in July, written by newcomer Suzanne Wood. No plot details on the two SG-1 books are yet available.
