Bidding open for annual MSOL charity auction

The fourth annual Michael Shanks Online charity auction is now underway! The official Web site for Stargate actor Michael Shanks ("Daniel Jackson") is auctioning off several autographed items beginning today, with proceeds going to benefit the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.
The eBay auctions feature a collection of autographed memorabilia– including some of Shanks' own scripts from Stargate SG-1 and this year's new DVD movies, plus items from past and current popular series such as Battlestar Galactica, Supernatural, The X-Files, Andromeda, Farscape, and the SG-1 spin-off series Stargate Atlantis.
Among the items are official photos, shooting scripts, and other collectables. The auction will include such items as:
- Michael Shanks' signed, personal SG-1 scripts (with hand-written notations), plus scripts and call sheets from his appearances on 24 and Eureka
- Stargate DVDs signed by the original movie's stars, Kurt Russell ("Jack O'Neill"), Mili Avital ("Sha're"), Erick Avari ("Kasuf"), and Alexis Cruz ("Skaara")
- Photos, posters, DVDs, and action figures signed by– Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles (Supernatural), Jamie Bamber and Katee Sackhoff (Battlestar Galactica), Torri Higginson (Stargate Atlantis's "Elizabeth Weir"), Joe Flanigan ("John Sheppard"), Paul McGillion ("Carson Beckett"), and Rainbow Sun Francks ("Aiden Ford"), Richard Burgi and Garett Maggart (The Sentinel)
- SG-1 team and individual photos, DVDs, and more, signed by Michael Shanks, Christopher Judge ("Teal'c"), Amanda Tapping ("Samantha Carter"), Ben Browder ("Cameron Mitchell"), Claudia Black ("Vala Mal Doran"), and Beau Bridges ("Hank Landry")
The MS Society of Canada is the preferred charity of Shanks and his wife, actress Lexa Doig ("Carolyn Lam"). In the last three years, the Web site's auctions have raised more than $43,000 U.S. for the organization.
