Cimmerian citizen who witnessed the takeover of his world by the Goa'uld Heru'ur. Olaf blamed SG-1 for the destruction of Thor's Hammer, which allowed the Ettins to take control and kill and enslave their people. But under encouragement from Gairwyn he reluctantly participated in a reconnaissance party with the Earth team, leading them through Heru'ur's Jaffa security nets.
Olaf was beside himself when SG-1 offered themselves up as captives of the Goa'uld, only then truly realizing that they were prepared to make the ultimate sacrifice to save his people. Fotunately, the Asgard Thor intervened before any sentence could be carried out.
