Significant member of the Manarian people. Smeadon negotiated with Major John Sheppard for bunk space on Manaria. Hoping to receive something in exchange for allowing almost all of the Athosian and Atlantis expedition members to say up to two nights, Sheppard suggested that Atlantis's manpower and technology may come in handy if the Manarians were ever in need of help.
While their guests settled in, Smeadon managed to get an Athosian so drunk that he was willing to give up his G.D.O. and code. Working in tandem with Commander Acastus Kolya of the Genii, these items were eventually used to invade Atlantis under the pretense of an emergency medical event when the city was manned by but a skeleton crew.
