Major in the Russian military under the command of Colonel Zukhov, assigned to travel to planet P2X-338 in the hopes of recovering a missing Russian Stargate team. Vallarin was aware of the secret mission assigned to Zukhov, to recover the Eye of Tiamat, and when Vallarin was possessed by the recently-escaped Goa'uld Marduk, his knowledge became a pawn.
Marduk, inside Vallarin, demanded the immediate return of the Eye, but instead received a grenade, blowing away a portion of his arm. The host survived even as Marduk arose from the rubble, chasing down SG-1, only to be destroyed for good when C4 detonated in his face.
