ABYDOS ONE
Radio call sign for the first X-302 test flight out of Earth's atmosphere. The mission was to create a sustainable hyperspace gate in hopes of gaining assistance from the Asgard in Anubis's attack on the beta gate.
The first flight, flown by Jack O'Neill and Samantha Carter, was a failure, but later the craft, re-designated Star Flight, was successful in creating a brief hyperspace jump, enough to fly the Antarctic Stargate far enough from Earth to prevent Anubis's superweapon from annihilating the planet.
