GREAT HOLOCAUST, THE
Term used by the Athosians for a period of time when the blood of humans ran free at the hands of the Wraith, who were in a feeding frenzy that likely spanned the entire Pegasus Galaxy. This last occurred approximately 500 years ago, and is repeated throughout history when the Wraith civilization awakens from its centuries-long hibernation cycles and begins culling worlds.
