Individuals once responsible for ministering to the needs of larval Goa'uld symbiotes, as well as presiding over prim'tah ceremonies.
Since the growing movement of rebellion and distrust within the ranks of the Jaffa, priests are no longer trusted to go about their normal duties of tending to the symbiotes.
