THE STARGATE OMNIPEDIA
SEA OF OGADA
A region far beyond the Shavadai village on the Shavadai homeworld. Abu had never met anyone from that far away. When SG-1 arrived through the Stargate they noticed the vicinity the gate occupied appeared to have been destroyed, so rather than alarm Abu and the other villagers by believing that they used such technology (and were therefore evil) they claimed to be from the region of the Sea of Ogada.

With this in mind, Ogada could perhaps be another world reachable by Stargate, or it may not exist beyond Shavadai legend and myth.

KEY EPISODE(S) -
Emancipation - So they do not alarm the natives that they use the Stargate, SG-1 claims to be from the Sea of Ogada.
