TRAINING STAFF
A light-weight staff made of wood, carved into the approximation of a Goa'uld staff weapon. Training staffs are shorter than standard staffs. They are used to train young Jaffa warriors to fight in personal combat, and when normal staff weapons are in short supply. Training staffs are also commonly the weapon of choice during challenges of jomo'sequ.

The Warrior - Teal'c and Ky'tano spar to the death in jomo'sequ with training staffs.
Birthright - Ishta and Teal'c spar with training staffs. Neith challenges Ishta to jomo'sequ, fighting her with a training staff.
