THE STARGATE OMNIPEDIA
Supergate segment SUPERGATE SEGMENT
Individual device, approximately ten meters long. Eighty compose an Ori Supergate.

The segments appear to be self-guided and are virtually indestructible. A full collision with a Ha'tak destroys the mothership but leaves the component entirely intact. This fact appears to strengthen the belief that the units are self-guiding and do not notice obstructions to the position in space where they wish to establish the Supergate.

KEY EPISODE(S) -
Beachhead - Following the Ori force field's completion countless components emerge through the Stargate to form the Supergate beyond the barrier.
