MY TO-DO LIST
It's been a week of coughing and wheezing for me, and I guess it couldn't have come at a better time. With Showtime in reruns for the first time since June, and GateWorld's writers taking the week off, this past week provided the smallest amount of site updates in a long, long time! But I'm getting better (best Monty Python voice there), thank you very much ... and here's what we've got planned during rerun season:
Season One episode analyses! Yep, GateWorld.net started up when Season One had passed beyond the Rim of syndication. Now that a kindly SG-1 fan sent me the entire season on tape, and now that reruns give me some free time, I'll start work on this stack of episode notes I've made. My goal is two per week, but count on at least one.
The Characters and Goa'uld sections are still not complete. You'll see complete profiles for everyone listed there.
Season Three episode reviews! Once we find the right person to write 'em, we'll have weekly reviews of the latest episode aired in syndication in the U.S.
More Stargate articles! Ed's still going strong on his weekly Stargate Mythology column, and we're bringing on new writers for regular columns! Character development! Relationships! Technology! If it's Stargate-related, we'll have it covered.
If you've got another idea to make GateWorld better, drop me a note. This site is by the fans, for the fans ... so we need you!
Go Mariners! [Cough] Darren
LINK OF THE WEEK! Philip's 'Stargate SG-1' Screen Capture Library Philip's site is by far the Net's biggest and best screen capture library for "Stargate SG-1!" With more than 200 screen captures from almost every single episode of the show (up through Season Three, at least -- Philip lives in the U.K. and is just getting Season Four), browsing the Screen Capture Library is almost as good as watching the episode. Oh, and there's also tons of sound clips, too!
