NEW GATEWORLD.NET FORUMS
After much pondering and debate, I've decided to take GateWorld Forums over to Delphi! If you haven't used Delphi Forums before, don't worry -- it's easy to pick up with a little practice.
Right now, we need you to hop on over there and lend some support! Post a new topic, or reply to a thread you see there. Let's get the new board jump-started, so that we can get back into some good SG-1 discussion.
The new system has a ton of features (that's what convinced me to move). For starters, you'll be able to edit or delete your own posts, and to use HTML tags (include pictures, links, and format your text). The message navigation system is also much better to the Ultimate Bulletin Board (our old software): the Delphi system will even remember which messages you have and have not seen, and take you right to those that are unread!
I confess, moderator features are also vastly better. I can edit inappropriate posts, move threads to another folder (oh, we have 16 forum folders now -- seven more than freeware UBB allows), or close a thread to posting and make it read-only.
It's also easy to check visitor traffic, advertise hot threads throughout all of Delphi Forums, make helper moderators, and a heck of a lot more!
