New council created by the new Jaffa nation following the defeat of the Goa'uld System Lords, assembled on the sacred planet of Dakara. For a time the council was led by Gerak, former First Prime of Montu.

KEY EPISODES
Avalon, Part 1 - Teal'c returns to Earth while the High Council is in recess to check on the status of Daniel Jackson who has succumbed to a kor mak bracelet.
Avalon, Part 2 - The High Council elects Gerak as it's new leader.
The Fourth Horseman, Part 2 - The High Council, stunned, hears Gerak's pleas for them to join in worshipping the Ori. Some are turned, but only temporarily.
