After a little more than two years of operation MGM’s official streaming platform for the Stargate franchise is coming to an end. As we reported, Stargate Command will close its doors at the end of this year.
The news has left fans reeling, with reactions ranging from outrage and frustration to calm resignation. But what does the site’s closure mean for the future of Stargate? Is MGM giving up on the film and television franchise … or just reassessing its online strategy moving forward?
