The Nassyans lived just beyond the [[Stargate]] in a small village on the border of a generous water source. They were easily located from orbit, as at least two [[Death glider|death gliders]] made an air-to-surface bombardment during the evacuation, killing many of the inhabitants and injuring countless others.
