One of the oldest and wisest of the Nox. During SG-1's visit to their home world Ohper worked out he was 432 years old (by Earth time). He took Daniel Jackson into the deep forest, teaching him about his culture and the way the Nox chose long ago to commune with the wilderness around them. Ohper rarely had nothing in his mouth, enjoying the natural spoils and nutrients around him.
Ohper was part of the family unit that lived on the forest floor, including Lya, Anteaus and Nefreyu. It is likely Anteaus is his son, and Nefreyu, his grandson.
