Archaeologist, wife of noted Dr. Melburn Jackson and mother of Daniel Jackson. She and her husband Melburn were working in the Manhattan Museum of Art, establishing a new exhibit, when the top portion of a stone column broke free, crushed and killed her and her husband, orphaning Daniel.

Daniel is shown his parents death over and over again by The Keeper but is unable to change the outcome.
