Treaty established by eleven nations of Earth (all claiming shared jurisdiction) in the hopes of promoting scientific research in and around the vicinity of Atlantus outpost.
Article One of the Antarctic Treaty clearly states: "There can be no establishment of a military base and no testing of any weapons."
